赛事规则
1.比赛乐器
二胡、 琵琶、 古筝、中阮、扬琴、笛子、笙
2.参赛要求
14 岁以上45岁以下
上海市各高校在读外国留学生
3.比赛规程
比赛分为初赛、半决赛、决赛。
注： 初赛为寄送录像评审；半决赛、决赛，为现场比赛。
如报名人数不满 50 人，比赛将延期举行。
4.参赛曲目
初赛为自选曲目一首 （不带伴奏， 限时 4-6分钟） ；
半决赛为自选曲目一首 （选手可以自带一名伴奏，不能重复初赛曲目，限时 8分 钟）；
决赛为自选曲目两首（选手可以自带一名伴奏，其中一首可重复初赛或半决曲目，另一首不可，限时15 分钟）。
5.比赛时间
2016年3月15日-5月20日初赛报名
2016年6月6日前公布进入半决赛名单
2016年6月20日- 6月24日半决赛
2016年7月7日（拟）决赛暨颁奖典礼
6.奖项设置
一等奖 1名 奖金 人民币 10000 元
二等奖 2名 奖金 人民币 5000 元
三等奖 3名 奖金 人民币 2000 元
优秀奖 5名 奖金人民币 500 元
以上奖项不限组别，获奖选手将得大赛组委会颁发的奖金、获奖证书及十次免费民乐项目培训课程 。
注：奖金额为税前，个人所得将由组委会代扣。

Rules and Guidelines
1.Musical instruments
Erhu, Pipa, Guzheng, Zhongruan, Yangqin, Flute and Sheng
2.Eligibility
Foreign students with valid foreign passport
Age from 14 to 45
Studying at Shanghai universities
3.Competition Arrangement
The competition includes preliminary, semi-final and final.
Note: In the preliminary, contestants should send video recordings for review, while in semi-final and
final competition they will compete through live performance.
The competition will be postponed if the participants are less than 50
4.Requirements on Music Pieces
In the preliminary, contestants can select a music piece (limited to 4-6 minutes andwithout music accompaniment)
In the semi-final, contestants can select a music piece (they are allowed to bring anaccompanist along and the music piece should not be a repeat of the preliminary pieceand is limited to 8 minutes)
In the final, contestants can select two music pieces (they are allowed to bring anaccompanist along; total time limit is 15 minutes; at least one among the two musicpieces should not repeat that of the preliminary and the semi-final).
5.Competition Timeline
Mar. 15th - May 20th, 2016, application for preliminary competition
Jun. 6th, 2016, semi-finalist announcement (through online notice and e-mail)
Jun. 20th - Jun. 24th, 2016, semi-final competition (for details about the time please seethe announcements on our website)
Jul. 7th, 2016, (tentative) final competition and award ceremony
6.Awards
One 1st prize RMB 10,000 yuan/per person
Two 2nd prizes RMB 5,000 yuan/per person
Three 3rd prizes RMB 2,000 yuan/per person
Five honorable mentions RMB 500 yuan/per person
*The above awards are not restricted to category and winners will be awarded with prizemoney and Certificate of Awards & Honors and will get 10 free Chinese traditional musiccourses.
Note: Prize money is pre-tax, individual income tax will be withheld by the committe

4. DVD for preliminary competition (please write your name and instrument category onthe back of the photos and the package of the DVD)
5.Studying certificateNote: Any personal information about the contestant including but not limited to name,nationality and instrument should not be contained or presented in the DVD, except on thepackage.
